I'm aware that it's been months since I've last submitted a journal entry here on DA. I wouldn't say that I was busy in particular, but I've had some things to take care of and DA sort of fell off my to-do list. For now, I'm  back, but I don't think I'd be around for much longer before I go up in smoke again. I just dropped by to add some of my paintings that I've actually wanted to put up but couldn't due to technical problems. Now, I can begin posting some of my work, but given that my new camera is horrible (aka I need to figure out how to use it/fixing the lighting to my advantage so it looks presentable), people are probably going to be

I LIIIIIIIIVE!!! YAAAAY! O.K. So I said I was going to get myself a new camera, right? Well, months had passed and I have yet to get myself one. I did spot a cute pink number in stores, from Sony, of course and I wanted it so bad. It isn't nearly as expensive as my number one goal, which is a Leica D-LUX 4, but still pretty pricey and still oh so cute. Given that I still have to pick one camera, I'm torn. Leica is winning (mostly because it's a much better camera and partially because it comes with a cute carrying case), naturally, but the pink Sony is putting up a good battle. Okay, so 2008 wasn't exactly the best of years. Hell, neither were 2006 or 2007. I think it's safe to say that these past three years were times of my midlife crisis, and I really hope I don't have to go through it again (though something tells me otherwise...) : I have to say though, I started the new year off on a pretty bad foot.
